WAVE will run a guided shopping route on Saturday, Sept. 26, stopping at resale and consignment shops in Dexter, Grass Lake, Manchester, and Chelsea as part of “Local Loop: Shop & Sip.”
The route runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting at Cass & Co. in Dexter and continuing to The Copper Nail in Grass Lake, five shops in Manchester (Sassy Peacock, Worth Repeating, Dragonfly & Birch, River, and Vintage Flea), and Chelsea Consignment in Chelsea, before finishing back in Dexter at Cass & Co. and Aubree’s around 4:50 p.m.
Participating stops are offering discounts of 10 to 30 percent, along with free samples, signature drinks, and other perks exclusively for riders. The full list of specials will be announced the day of the event.
Chelsea riders can catch the Community Connector locally and transfer at the Dexter Downtown Shuttle stop by 9:32 a.m. to board the event bus. The bus returns to Dexter in time to catch the Connector’s last run back to Chelsea.
Registration Details
Tickets are $20, and registration is required. Spots are limited, and WAVE says the route tends to fill up quickly. Proceeds support WAVE, a nonprofit that provides transportation across the region. View more details and register here.
