The Chelsea Education Foundation’s fifth annual Sip at Serendipity Book Drive takes place tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Serendipity Books (119 S. Main St., Chelsea). Visitors can browse and purchase book bundles selected for Chelsea schools and classrooms.
Wine will be provided by Withington’s, with light refreshments from Main Street Provisions, while you shop and support local students.
The evening supports literacy in Chelsea schools. Participation helps provide new books, including Authors in Chelsea titles, for local students, teachers, classrooms, and libraries.
Can’t make it? Donations toward the book drive’s $6,000 fundraising goal are also welcome. Contributions help the Chelsea Education Foundation provide books and other educational resources to students in the Chelsea School District.
