Chelsea First United Methodist Church will host its monthly Messy Church gathering on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This month’s theme is “Peacemakers.”
Messy Church is a different kind of church experience for people of all ages. Instead of a traditional worship service, participants enjoy creative activities, games, music, and a brief interactive worship celebration. It’s a welcoming, relaxed environment where children and adults learn, create, and grow in faith together.
Part of a global Christian movement, Messy Church is offered by thousands of churches worldwide and invites everyone, whether they attend church regularly or have never been before, to experience church in a fun, hands-on, and meaningful way.
Guests are encouraged to participate in the entire gathering, where fun, laughter, and community make time fly. Music, storytelling, creative crafts, and dinner are all part of the evening. Chelsea First UMC is located at 128 Park St. For questions, call (734) 475-8119.
