Zion Lutheran Church has three events coming up over the next three weeks: a trunk-or-treat, a harvest dinner, and a service and brunch honoring veterans.
Trunk or Treat, Sunday, Oct. 25
Kids and adults are invited to wear costumes and decorate their trunks for the church’s annual Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, following the 10:15 a.m. worship service. Prizes will go to the Best Trunk and Best Costume, and there will be candy, cider, donuts, and Hawaiian shaved ice.

Harvest Dinner, Saturday, Oct. 31
The annual dinner is take-out only this year, with curbside pickup from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the church, 3050 S. Fletcher Road. Each $16 meal includes roast pork, kielbasa, sauerkraut and kniffles, squash, applesauce, rolls, and dessert. Tickets are available from Neil Horning at 734-320-5004 or [email protected], or online. All proceeds go to the church’s general fund.

Veterans Appreciation Service and Brunch, Sunday, Nov. 8
The 10:15 a.m. worship service will include special recognition of veterans, followed by brunch. The church invites families to submit a photo of a veteran for recognition during the service. Email photos to [email protected] or drop them off at the church office for scanning by Tuesday, Nov. 3. For more information, call the church office at 734-475-8064.
