Patrick “Pat” McSweeney of Jackson, Michigan, formerly of Chelsea, and Michigan Center, age 65, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026, at home. He was born April 24, 1961, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Myles Frederick and Evelyn Marie (Shoquist) McSweeney.
Pat graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1979. He went to work at Bookcrafters/Sheridan Books, and worked there for over 40 years. Pat also worked at Village Motors/Golling for 20 years. He was a jack of all trades, and loved helping people, no matter what they needed. Pat was a member of Chelsea Free Methodist Church. He was a member of AA, with 25 years of recovery. He enjoyed making cheesecakes and chocolate chip cookies. Pat loved spending time with his grandkids. He was outgoing, friendly, and loud. He was who he was.
