Chelsea District Library is giving Halloween costumes a second life this fall. Starting Oct. 1, families can drop off gently used costumes at the library’s first-floor information desk and take home a “new-to-them” one in return — no donation required to participate.
Donated costumes should be in good, wearable condition, free of holes, wear and tear, or odors. The exchange runs through Oct. 31; any costumes still there at month’s end will be donated Nov. 1.
