• Design requests - Whether you will provide the artwork or you'd like us to design it

Yes. Our team provides ad design services for The Chelsea Post advertisers at a discounted rate. We require a longer lead time to accommodate the design and approval process.

The design fee is noted above in the Ad Rates & Sizes table.

Email us at [email protected] with your preferred ad size and dates, and we’ll confirm availability.

Note that top banner ads fill up quickly, particularly from May-August and November-December. Please plan ahead as far as possible to get your preferred dates penciled in.

Once your dates are confirmed and you send us your artwork, we aim to have your ad scheduled in 5 business days. We update ads once per week, on Fridays. New ads typically start on Saturdays. Shorter lead time may occasionally be accommodated.

If you need ad design services, please allow additional time for the design and approval process.

In most cases, yes. There is a small fee for changing your artwork during your ad cycle. See our Ad Rates & Sizes table above.

Send new files (or design requests) and the dates you'd like the ad to switch over to [email protected].

We can accommodate up to 4 ads in a single swap-out if they are sent as in one request. For example:

• Let's say you're a year-long advertiser with a sidebar ad.
• On March 1, you send us an email with 3 files for new ads for April, May, and June. If we can schedule them in one sitting, the swap-out fee covers all three ads. The total cost is $12.
• If you send us an email on April 1 with a new ad ($12), on May 1 with a new ad ($12), and on June 1 with a new ad ($12), the total cost is $36.

If the ad file you send us does not fit the ad dimensions or file type needed, we'll ask you to update it and re-send the file. This may delay the start of your ad cycle.

File formats accepted are:

• *.jpg or *.jpeg (preferred)
• *.png

If you would like our team to recreate the ad at the correct size or convert your PDF, Photoshop, Illustrator or other file, we can do that for you at our standard ad design fee.

Yes, with some limitations. If you have a special event or promotion and want even extra visibility, you can supplement your current ad with a 2nd short-term ad by the week or month.

We want to give our local businesses a fair opportunity for ad space, so we have the following guidelines in place:

• YES: Sidebar ad + Stick-in-Place ad
• YES: Banner ad + Sidebar Ad
• YES: Banner ad + Stick-in-Place ad
• NO: Stick-in-Place ad + Stick-in-Place ad
• NO (usually): Banner ad + Banner ad - We don't typically run two banner ads from the same business or organization. We may make an exception if space is available. However, the second banner would be subject to being bumped by another advertiser. If that were the case, you would only be charged for the time it ran.
