The Lima Township Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. to interview candidates for an open trustee seat and vote to appoint one.
The seat became vacant after longtime Trustee Greg McKenzie resigned, effective Aug. 31. The board formally accepted his resignation at last month’s meeting. Several residents have expressed interest in filling the seat, which runs through Nov. 30, 2028.
The board will also enter closed session Tuesday to review an attorney-client privileged memo and to consider a determination on a FOIA appeal.
The meeting will be held at Lima Township Hall, 11452 Jackson Rd., Dexter.
