Chelsea Community Fair Ladies’ Day Looking for Donations from Local Businesses

The Chelsea Community Fair’s Ladies’ Day, a longtime Fair Week tradition, returns on Friday, Aug. 28, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. and the program starting at 9 a.m. This year’s theme is “A Fair-y Princess Ladies Day.”

The Ladies Day Committee is reaching out to local businesses to help make the morning a success. The first 250 people receive goody bags filled with local business donations — pencils, magnets, chip clips, discount coupons and the like — along with door prizes and raffle drawings throughout the morning. Every donor is acknowledged in the event program, and attendees are encouraged to visit donating businesses and say thanks in person.

Details on how to contribute, including deadlines and contact information, are in the letter below from the Ladies Day Committee.

For the Chelsea Fair dates, schedule, ticket info, and event details, see our 2026 Chelsea Fair Guide.
