The Washtenaw Area Recycling Authority (WWRA) has adjusted the curbside recycling pickup schedule on Freer Rd. due to the current construction taking place. Residents are asked to follow the updated pickup instructions from the WWRA based on which side of the street they live on.
West side residents near Beach Middle School should continue to place bins at the end of their driveways as usual.
East side residents near Chelsea High School should place their bin on the west side of the street, across from their driveway, if possible. This allows crews to make a single southbound pass and collect bins for both sides of the street.
Recycling pickup service on detour routes and side streets will not be affected.
As a reminder, recycling bins should be out by 7 a.m. and can be picked up until 5 p.m. on your regular service day, regardless of construction.
