Final Days to Help Ballet Chelsea Reach Its $30,000 Fundraising Goal

Ballet Chelsea extended its annual Partner With Us fundraising campaign through Sunday, Oct. 18, giving community members extra time to support its dance education, performances, Adaptive Dance Program, and community outreach.

The campaign, originally scheduled to conclude Oct. 11, has a goal of $30,000. To date, 69 donors have contributed $17,958, bringing Ballet Chelsea nearly 60% of the way toward its goal. Ballet Chelsea hopes the additional time will encourage more community members to help close the gap.

Throughout the campaign, Ballet Chelsea dancers and families have shared personal #whywedance stories on social media, illustrating how dance builds confidence, encourages creativity, develops discipline, and creates meaningful connections.

Community contributions support Ballet Chelsea’s high-caliber dance education and performances, including its upcoming production of The Nutcracker. with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra. Donations also help sustain the organization’s Adaptive Dance Program, which provides accessible movement opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities, and community outreach initiatives that, the organization said, reached more than 1,000 people over the past year.

You can support Ballet Chelsea at many giving levels. Donors can make a one-time gift or set up a recurring monthly gift in any amount.

As the campaign enters its final days, Ballet Chelsea encourages those who have not yet participated to consider making a gift, supporting an individual dancer’s fundraising efforts, or sharing the campaign with friends and family.

Gifts of any size help more people take part in dance.

The campaign ends Oct. 18. Donations and dancer fundraising pages are on Ballet Chelsea’s Partner With Us page.
