Registration Opens Monday for Nov. 14 County Cleanup Day in Scio Township

Registration opens Monday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m. for the next Washtenaw County Cleanup Day, set for Nov. 14 in Scio Township.

The Nov. 14 event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is required and closes one week before the event or when it fills up. The address is provided after registering.

Any Washtenaw County resident can attend. Materials from businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, or other organizations are not accepted.

Accepted items include appliances, bulky waste, electronics, household hazardous waste, scrap metal, and tires.

A minimum donation of $20 is suggested. Cash and checks are accepted at the event, with checks made out to Washtenaw County. Residents can bring four tires for free, with a suggested $5 donation for each additional tire (limit of 10). One TV or freon appliance is free, with a suggested $10 donation for each additional item.
