Learn what it takes to rehabilitate a wild animal at Wild Rehab, presented by the Howell Nature Center at the Eddy Discovery Center on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
As Michigan’s largest wildlife rehabilitator, Howell Nature Center treats thousands of wild animals each year — from common species to endangered ones — with the goal of returning them to the wild. The program covers the threats wildlife face, what rehabilitation involves, and how the community can help.
The program is held at the Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Rd. in the Waterloo Recreation Area near Chelsea. Cost is $2 per person or $5 per family; WNHA members attend free. Register by emailing [email protected] with your name, phone number, and number of people attending.
