The Chelsea Fair Parade is one of the week’s biggest draws, with crowds lining the streets along the 1.5-mile route starting on Middle Street, heading down Main Street, and all the way to the Fairgrounds. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.
Community floats, local groups, vintage cars, fair queen candidates, demolition derby winners, the marching band, and more make their way through downtown, waving and tossing candy to the kids along the way — the JIFFY Mix trucks are always a favorite.
